With the help of Sydney’s latest essential app, titled Northern Beaches Parking Finder, drivers across Sydney will be able to find viable parking spaces within a 15 square kilometre lot of kerbside that encompasses Manly, as well as its surrounding suburbs such as Balgowlah and Seaforth.
The Northern Beaches Parking Finder was created by Transport for NSW in tandem with local start-up Spot Parking. The app colour-codes and highlights parking areas relevant to the user, and to narrow the search, filters for categories such as motorbike-only parking, free parking, or accessible parking for the disabled can be applied to allow drivers to hone in on their ideal parking spaces.

The app also displays up-to-date hourly rates and prices for all the paid parking zones within the surrounding area. Other filters and features allow drivers to set specific hours for when they plan to park, as well as for how long. Plans have already been set in motion for similar parking maps in other popular areas within the city like the CBD.
